41 Lives Changed Forever in Sapallanga

On May 23, 2026

We held our spay & neuter campaign in Sapallanga, and we are very happy to share that it was a beautiful and successful day for the animals and the community.

Together…

We were able to sterilize:

  • 24 cats

  • 17 dogs

This campaign focused especially on the most vulnerable pets and low-income families in the community. It was a day filled with emotion, teamwork, education, and hope.

More than just a campaign

This was an opportunity to educate families about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering.

Thanks to the incredible door-to-door efforts of teacher Magali and local volunteers, many families received guidance and support directly within their community.

We are deeply grateful

Thank you to all the volunteers and community members who helped organize this campaign with so much love and dedication.

While Pichuberry helps partially fund these initiatives, real change happens because communities come together to protect their animals.

Thousands of lives have already been saved thanks to these efforts.

This campaign was made possible thanks to the support of:
Marchig Animal Welfare Trust – UK

Together, we continue building a more compassionate future for the animals of the Peruvian Andes.
