Annie: A little dog who chose to keep going.

Annie was found alone on the street after being hit by a car.

She was limping, confused, and searching for food just to survive.

Neighbors told us she appeared one night, with no owner, no shelter, and no one looking for her.

At first, Annie was afraid.

Like many dogs who have lived on the streets, she didn’t trust people and kept her distance.

But with patience, care, and kindness, Annie slowly began to change.

At that time, no one claimed her and no one wanted to take responsibility for her.

I didn’t have the heart to leave her alone.

I took Annie to the veterinary clinic and then brought her home to Casa de Aurora in November.

From that moment on, Annie became part of our family.

Since then, Annie has been with us.

Over time, she has transformed into a gentle, loving, and playful pup.

She enjoys affection, seeks human connection, and shows us every day how resilient and forgiving animals can be when given a chance.

Annie isn’t just looking for a place to stay, she is looking for a family.

A home where she is loved, protected, and treated as a true member of the family.

Annie is spayed and ready to begin a new chapter in her life.

Give Annie the chance to belong. Adopt or sponsor her.

Post-adoption follow-up will be required, as Annie is not meant to guard land, garages, or abandoned properties.

She deserves a safe home, companionship, and lasting love.

Annie’s story is a reminder that one kind decision can change a life forever.
