Despite deep financial hardships, local families showed incredible dedication by bringing multiple pets to break the cycle of suffering. While local challenges like a nearby dumpsite stray population remind us of the complex work ahead, the overwhelming community support reinforces our commitment to return and continue fighting for a compassionate future in the Andes.
